Welcome to Piedmont High School's Library Media Center.

The PHS School Library Media Center strives to promote independent, life-long seekers of knowledge.  As students and teachers continue to develop  21st Century skills, learning to access information is lead by our school library media program for every child every day.  This access includes collaboration, technology skills, and enjoyment of information that will nurture each student into a journey of educational success and good citizenship.  Through effective use of the community, resources, and management, the school library media program is designed  to teach students the skills to live, work and communicate in our changing society.

MISSION STATEMENT
​The mission of the library media program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information. This mission is accomplished: 1. By providing intellectual and physical access to materials and information in all formats. 2. By providing instruction to foster competence and stimulate interest in reading, viewing, and using information and ideas. 3. By working with other educators to design learning strategies to meet the needs of individual students.​
